Korea - Ttongsul, a Korean wine with child feces

Ttongsul is a traditional Korean medicine with a 9% alcohol content. The poo of a human child between 4 and 7 years old is refrigerated for 3-4 days, mixed with water, divided into smaller pieces, and fermented overnight.

Japan - Un, Kono Kuro, a dark beer made with elephant feces

Un, Kono Kuro or Black Ivory Coffee is produced at an elephant conservation center in northern Thailand.

Arabica coffee cherries are mixed with other fruits and other foods and fed to the elephants, who then slowly digest it over 15 to 30 hours before excreting it.

The undigested coffee cherries excreted by elephants are removed from the dung by elephant trainers, washed, sun-dried, and roasted to become coffee.

In Oklahoma, USA, there is an annual Cow dung festival where people throw cow dung at each other and lick their fingers.
