Slave trade was brought to India by invading Islamic armies & more Hindus were enslaved than Africans. Shivaji abolished the slave trade in his kingdom 186 years before USA.

All Indians are free, None of them is a slave. Indians do not even use foreigners as slaves, much less a countryman of their own"
