Ahmadiyya

Ahmadiyyas and Pakistan

Pakistan was created by Jinnah who was from Shia family. The caliph of Ahmadiyyas voted for Pakistan & asked Ahmadis to take up arms in support of it. The All India Shia Conference & Anjuman Tanzimul Momineen passed resolutions in favor of Pakistan.

Muhammad Zafrulla Khan, an Ahmadiyya, authored the Lahore Resolution of 1940. This resolution happened to become the foundation for partition of India.

Afterwards, Abdus Salam, a Nobel Laureate from Pakistan, was shunned for being an Ahmadiyya.

Today, regular discrimination against them is a part of life.
